When you book your session with me, we will discuss what you want to get out of your pictures and a location where we will take them. I always tell people that the location doesn’t have to have bridges and flowers and amazing doorways. Nine times out of ten people end up loving the images I take that have simple locations like the Salt Flats, an old barn, or a dirt road. It’s the people I’ll be focusing on, not the cascading waterfall in the background. After we decide on a location, I’ll get all of your information, and at that point we can discuss clothing options and anything else you are curious about.

I prefer to shoot in the late afternoon as the light is best at that time of day. I have filters and post-production tools I can use if we need to shoot during the day, but for the best natural light, I try to stick to a time that allows us to be wrapping up as the sun goes down.

Your session will typically last from 1-2 hours, but there are occasions where I do go over. I do not charge for overtime typically, as I try to shoot until I feel we have everything we need to complete the session. On the other hand, there have been times where I walk into a home and the baby is cooperative and happy and we can get “THE ONE!!!” in 30 minutes.

After we’re finished, I will get your proofs uploaded to a secure site within 2-3 weeks. You will only see the pictures I have selected. I will select the best one or two images out of each pose for you to pick from. I’ll email you your password and the link to where you may view all of the photos that I have chosen. Typically, I have edited a few photos for you to view, and at that point, you may select 5-10 more for premium editing. Please note, you will not see every image I take.. This policy is strictly adhered to.
